Mark Twain invites you to enter our drawing for a chance to win a trip to Washington, D.C., as part of The Foundation for Rural Service 2018 Youth Tour. The tour is Saturday, June 2 through Wednesday, June 6, 2018. The winner will gain a first-hand look at the telecommunications industry and government process and spend four days visiting famous historical sites including the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian, the National Cathedral, the U.S. Capitol and Arlington National Cemetery. The winnder will also have a wonderful time meeting other students from rural communities across the country. Mark Twain will pay the registration fee (which includes meals, ground transportation in Washington, special entertainment, t-shirt, student “yearbook” and admission to ticketed events), hotel and airfare. Students will be met at the airport gate upon arrival in Washington and transported to their hotel. Students are chaperoned by National Telephone Cooperative Association (NTCA) staff and by volunteers from member phone companies.
